There are different options in covering
the costs at Sankalpa Therapy and Wellness Center…
Paying Out Of Pocket
Mental Health Services
One option is to pay out of pocket (privately) for each appointment. Wellness and Energy Healing fees are always out of pocket and are due at time of service. We have decided to utilize Open Path Psychotherapy Collective to help in providing those who qualify the out of pocket costs. To see if you qualify for a lower rate, please click on the button below.
Insurance
Many insurance plans cover mental health services (massage and energy healing are not normally covered). We accept most insurance plans but we recommend that you double-check your insurance benefits prior to requesting an appointment. If you haven't done so already, contact your insurance company to see if we are in-network with your plan and to see what your outpatient mental health benefits are. Understanding your plan benefits will help determine what will be covered under insurance, if you will have a copay, or if you will need to reach a deductible. (Our business operates as Sankalpa Therapy and Wellness Center, but some insurance companies recognize us as our parent company, (Minnesota Counseling and Therapy Center).

STANDARD NOTICE
“Right to Receive a Good Faith Estimate of Expected Charges”
Under the No Surprises Act You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call us at 612-849-4792.
