Yoga is a practice that originated in India 5,000 years ago. The teachings of yoga have been passed down through many lineages and were brought to the United States in 1893. Ever since then, interest in yoga has grown because of its numerous benefits for physical, mental, and spiritual health. The word “yoga” means to yolk or unite, which is what the practice is all about. Yoga helps unite the mind, body, and spirit so that one can live in a state of presence, awareness, compassion, and harmony. By practicing yoga, you may find increased strength, balance, and flexibility with improved sleep, stress-management, mood and much more. You may even make some new friends! Whether you have never done yoga, practice frequently, or anywhere in between, you are always welcome here. Yoga is a practice for everyBODY. You do not need to have a certain body type, be injury-free, or be flexible to do yoga. All you need is to have a body. In my classes, I offer numerous modifications for poses so that you have the ability to choose what feels best for your body.
Personal Yoga and Relaxation Session

This session is just for you if you’re stressed, burned out, experience mental health symptoms (depression, anxiety, PTSD, insomnia), or are wanting to deepen your connection to yourself. An individual yoga session allows for increased mindfulness, stress reduction, and improved overall well-being. Various modalities such as breath, yoga poses, guided meditation, sound, hands-on support, and aromatherapy are used to enhance your physical, mental, and spiritual wellness.
