Our Team
Becky Myers M.A.
I am a master’s level intern currently completing my master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. I received bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Communication Studies & Theatre from Gustavus Adolphus College, and a previous master’s degree in Health, Leisure & Sport Studies with a concentration in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Iowa. I am also certified in Prepare/Enrich.
While utilizing a systemic lens and collaborative approach, my goal is to create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and encouraged to achieve change, healing, and growth. My approach is rooted in systemic and experiential theories, drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and narrative techniques to meet each person where they are. My approach can include play and creative engagement, recognizing that these methods can be powerful tools for fostering connection and meaning.
My background as a Recreation Therapy Specialist has equipped me with a deep understanding of the diverse needs across various life stages. Whether working with children, teenagers, couples or families, I focus on the unique needs of each person, honoring one’s experience and encouraging holistic well-being. My goal is to support clients in navigating their challenges and foster lasting, positive transformations in their relationships and individual lives.
I am working under the supervision of Erin Shobe, LMFT.
